 The Alphion AEMS Element Management System is a G.984 standards-based client-server application suite that allows local or remote management of the AOLT-4000 system over in-band or out-of-band data channels. Available as both a thin client craft interface and a full EMS GUI, the AEMS provides fault, configuration, inventory, and performance management of all network elements.
Highly scalable, a single installation of the AEMS running on either Solaris 10 or Windows Operating Systems is capable of supporting more than 500 OLTs and 10,000 ONT/ONUs. With southbound SNMP and northbound CORBA/XML interfaces, it is compatible with the existing operational support systems of all major service provider. A thin-client EMS application can also be run on a PC or laptop and networked to the EMS application server.
